If you searched for MemoCept and ended up reading about VapoCept, you're in the right place. This site was built to cover MemoCept. It now covers VapoCept, a newer formula from the same distributor, and every order link on the site goes to VapoCept. Here's what that means.
Who makes both products?
Both labels list the same US distributor. Both products are described as made in the USA with globally sourced ingredients, both come in 30-capsule bottles, and both are taken as one capsule a day.
What's different?
The formula. MemoCept was an amino-acid formula built around L-arginine and L-citrulline, with beta-alanine, niacin and calcium. VapoCept keeps none of those. Instead it combines D-glucosamine with extracts of ginkgo, turmeric, marigold, green tea and bamboo. You can see both labels next to each other on our homepage comparison or read the full breakdown.
Why did this site switch?
MemoCept didn't find much of an audience here, and VapoCept is the newer product from the same distributor, with a more botanical formula and more detail on the label about how each extract is standardized. Rather than keep sending readers to the older product, we rebuilt the site around the new one and kept the MemoCept information available for comparison.
We don't have an official statement from the distributor about MemoCept's future, so we won't claim it's been discontinued. What we can tell you is that this site no longer links to it.
I still have MemoCept. What should I do?
- You can finish your current bottle. There's no reason to throw it away.
- Don't start VapoCept at the same time without checking with your doctor, since the ingredients are completely different.
- If you take a blood thinner, have a shellfish allergy or avoid animal products, read our VapoCept safety guide before switching.
- For a refund on an existing MemoCept order, contact the customer service details on your order confirmation.
VapoCept
VapoCept is the formula this site now covers. Same price as MemoCept, from $49 a bottle.
